We took another woodland walk a few days ago. Most of the leaves have already fallen but I spied this one that was caught in a branch. There's still colour in the woods ... it's just softer and more muted but it's still there.

I missed last week's Favourite Finds. There just wasn't enough time to get something together so I've decided that it will appear a little less frequently. I'm spending too much time looking for things online and not enough time on my photography projects. I'll wait until I've found something exciting and then I'll share it with you. Thanks for understanding!
Beautiful photos! I love when you're able to catch a moment like that. You have such an elegant way of expressing yourself and the things around you. I'm so happy I found your blog!
ReplyDeletei second that last comment. you truly see the beauty in the smallest details. while i'll miss the finds, i totally understand the lack of time.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect is that? It's like the leaf was just sat there waiting for you to come along and photograph it! Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteIf there were only more time in a day, we could do it all! Believe me, it is understandable and we appriciate the beautiful photographs that you show us. I recall reading somewhere that if the stars only came out once a year, we would all gather to see. Lucky for us, we can see them often. We can also visit here often! Enjoy your evening.
ReplyDeletei never done this before, capturing one leaf as a subject matter.... thanks for the guide. i look lost and alone yet peaceful. i must try too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous capture! I too am shooting some of the last leaves these days. Hate to see them go! ♥
ReplyDeleteThis is so delicate and poignant, Lynda – beautifully done. It is sad to see a season end but then we get caught up in the next one that occupies us once again. I think these images really capture that feeling. Don't worry about missing a post – much better to share something exciting as you find it. xo – g
ReplyDeleteJust lovely Lynda! Hope you are enjoying a beautiful week.

The leaves are disappearing so quickly, aren't they? I am always a little sad when those last remaining leaves cling to their branches...this season is far too fleeting....but ever so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love finding the details in nature. Nicely Done!
