These were delicious ... really delicious. In fact, they almost didn't make it to the photo shoot because I couldn't stop eating them.
Raspberries are my favourite berry. When they're in season, I buy them at our local farmer's market in the morning and they're finished by the end of the day.
I think they're best when eaten the same day. The flavour just isn't the same once they're refrigerated. I'm hoping there will be more at the market this weekend but with the extreme heat we've had this week, the season might be over much too soon.
And speaking of heat, how are you managing to stay cool? This week has been hot, hot hot and almost has me almost wishing for cooler Autumn days ... almost. :)
They look beautiful and delicious! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous summer time treats! I have the same problem when photographing fruit ~ in fact I have had to tell my family to "back off...the fruit is for a photo shoot!" Boy ~ do they look at me like I've lost my marbles!!! Ha,Ha!
ReplyDeleteHot here too...102 today without much relief but for fans as we don't have any AC and trips to the lake. However, I keep telling myself it wasn't that long ago that it was still in the 30's or colder! :-)
Raspberries are THE best when eaten the same day as purchased or picked. MMMMMM....I love 'em. My grandparents had a cane in their yard and it was soooo good to stand there, pick them and eat them.
ReplyDeleteAC and lots of melon!
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful raspberry shots. Now can you imagine a white chocolate chip in each? Yummo. ☺
These photographs are just beautiful Lynda!
ReplyDeleteSo much detail in each one and I love the way you've composed them.
It's horribly hot here too, and no relief until possibly Monday.
I know that in January I will be wishing for this, but for right now, it's really uncomfortable.
Mmm, my favorites, too! Gorgeous photos, Lynda. Most everyone is too hot but we are hoping for some hot days this week! No matter the temperature, raspberries mean summer to me! xo – g
ReplyDeleteI love raspberries. Possibly my favourite fruit. These photos are just gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pictures and not a chance of tasting a morsel!
ReplyDeleteMay I tell you that this is the most beautiful set of raspberry photos I have ever looked at? It is! :-) Such fine detail. I love how you have combined them with the blue stripe grain sack material, too.

My favorite too. Mine are usually half gone by the time I get home - unless I somehow put them out of reach. These photos are so lovely - I feel as if I could reach through the screen and take a berry for myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous summer time treats!
