Something new for 2011 is
Project 52 - a photo a week for a year. Winter will be my biggest challenge but I think I can manage at least ONE photo a week. By the end of the year, I hope to have a collection of images that will reflect the year; something personal that I can look back on. I love the texture and color of dried hydrangeas and thought they looked pretty with a dusting of snow.
Thank you for your comments on my frosty photos in my previous post. I'm running way behind with visiting your blogs; some weeks there just aren't enough hours in the day! This weekend I'm going to be working on my website. I hit a bit of a wall with it before Christmas and haven't touched it since. Wish me luck!
Have a lovely weekend!
Such a wonderful, romantic, vintage photo. I really love it Lynda!
ReplyDeleteI certainly know how you feel about a lack of time. So often life just takes over and there's not much you can do about it.
Best of luck on your website! I'm going to check out Project 52.

I could crawl into each of your photos and live...
ReplyDeletewow.... i need to try and learn taking pics like this.
ReplyDeleteI love the contrast of the cold white snow with the color of the leaves, these warm tones leave us an attractive and interesting image.
ReplyDeleteHi Lynda, I love your quote by Elliot Erwitt. Your photography is beautiful, my first visit to your blog and a lovely surprise. Carla
ReplyDeleteYour image is simply gorgeous. I love dried hydrangeas too...they have a papery delicacy that is irresistible to photograph....a man found me on his driveway a month or so ago, photographing his hydrangeas. He gave me a funny look, wondering why I was taking pictures of dead flowers. If only he could see the beauty!
ReplyDeleteA photo a week...that sounds like a wonderfully manageable project. Enjoy!
