Good reads

There's nothing I love to do more than curl up with a few of my favourite decorating books.  My reading room is so comfortable with soft down filled cushions and a cosy throw for those chilly days.  Add a cup of tea and I'm in utter bliss!

I almost forgot to do my Project 52 this week!  It's been a busy week getting the shop opened and on top of that, my kitchen has been having a makeover.  I promise to share photos of the new look just as soon as it's all put back together.

    What a great photo. I love "Victoria" books, though I don't have any in my personal collection. I ought to be haunting eBay! I organize my "Victoria" magazines by month rather than year and then pull out all the Februarys in February... love the inspiration.

    I found a few of those same Victoria books on Alibris. I love spending time flipping through all my decorating books -- so much fun!

    Wow, you have a reading room! Oh, yes, I remember now from last year. Lucky you! So special to have a cozy little spot. Probably good for the occasional nap, too. :)

    I love those books – I have Toshi's "Moments in the Garden" on my shelf right now and "At Home in England" is another favorite.
