Refreshing

Watching the rain from my front porch ... seeing the parched leaves turn upwards to catch the raindrops and the earth swallowing the water in big thirsty gulps.  It's been a dry summer.

    i love rain actually, especially when i get to stay home, nice and cosy... just listening to it, and i love the smell of that first rain... Your picture is wonderful; very fresh indeed :)

    Gorgeous and glistening...we didn't get as much rain as I thought we would yesterday...lots of noisy thunder but not much rain...and yes, it has been very dry! :(
