There are just a few blooms left on my Jackmanii clematis but it was just gorgeous this year. It now needs two trellises, side by side, to hold it. In a summer where most of the garden was scorched, this thrived in the shade.
Beautiful picture; lovely clematis. What a great color! I grew clematis this year for the first time. It's tiny and I so hope that it overwinters. Right now, it looks as if it will fade out and be gone for good.

ReplyDeleteI just love the composition and color.
Every time I come here I like to spend a while just looking at your header and watching all of the beautiful images change.
ReplyDeleteThis Clematis is glorious, mine bloom early in spring and then I don't see them again until next year.
It was very nice of you to pay me a visit. Have a wonderful day!
