favourites from 2009

With the year almost over, I thought it would be fun to take a look back at some of my favourite photos from 2009. This was an exciting year for me as I took a giant leap towards following my passion for photography. I can't wait to see what 2010 will bring!

Here are just a few of my personal favourites from the past year ...

merry christmas

It's Christmas Eve ... my favourite day of the year.  Somehow everything managed to get done and if it didn't, well there's always next year.  After all the hustle and bustle there's a certain calm in the air today.  I'll be spending the next few days surrounded by family and friends, eating too much and enjoying every minute of it.  I hope you'll be doing the same.

My shop is now closed until the new year.  I'll be adding new prints when I re-open as well as a few more surprises.  There's also a sale coming!  Lots of exciting things planned for 2010.

Wishing you all Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!  May the Peace and Joy of the season be with you and yours.

xo,
Lynda

peppermint twist

Are you ready for Christmas?  Thankfully I managed to get a lot done this weekend.  Just a little more baking to do and a few gifts to finish wrapping and that's it!  The last of my Christmas cards were mailed Saturday ... a little late but at least I mailed them before Christmas!

I haven't uploaded any holiday photos yet but I did manage to capture these candy canes just before they got smashed into peppermint bark.

winter dreams

I'll miss the winter
A world of fragile things
Look for me in the white forest
Hiding in a hollow tree

golden oak

Faded oak leaves still clinging to their branches ...the last remnants of Autumn.

rustic

Sometimes the simplest things are the most beautiful.  I've always adored these rail fences with their weathered wood and rustic look.

Happy Friday!
